Working with Students
We included a special section about working with students because we believe student learning is the core purpose of our work as teachers. And further, to teach effectively we need to communicate with students and facilitate their work. However, we know that students can bring many issues and concerns into their studies and often you as teachers will need to interact with them about these concerns. We have provided ideas for strategies and campus resources. We address working with students who do not speak English as a first language to provide assistance with communication.
