MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - A winter blast in the heart of Tennessee has pushed the game time between North Texas and Middle Tennessee back to 4 p.m. this afternoon. The two teams will square off at the Murphy Center at 4 p.m. and the game can be heard on 88.1 FM KNTU. The Mean Green faces one of the hottest teams in the league as the Blue Raiders sit atop the East Division with a 9-1 mark.

North Texas and Middle Tennessee are meeting for the 14th time in series history. The Blue Raiders have the edge in the series over North Texas 9-4. North Texas has lost four straight games to Middle Tennessee dating back to the 2005-06 season.

The last win by the Mean Green over MTSU came on February 8, 2006, a 69-64 win at the Super Pit. Last season the Blue Raiders swept the Mean Green, including a 113-58 loss last season at the Murphy Center. North Texas is 1-3 all-time on the road against MTSU.

Freshman Jasmine Godbolt is inching her way towards the top of the rebounding chart among freshman, but against Western Kentucky she topped her own record with a career-high 16 boards. That is the most rebounds in a game by a North Texas player since December 14, 2008 when Amber Jackson had 16 against SMU.

Godbolt over the last six games has owned the glass as she has averaged 9.4 rebounds a game and had three double figure rebounding totals.
