On Tap
North Texas dropped its third match in a row to UALR in a rematch from a tight contest that saw the Mean Green win back in early January in Little Rock. The Mean Green is 6-5 in SBC play and seeking to reclaim first place in the SBC West from Arkansas State with a head-to-head match against the Red Wolves looming on Super Bowl Sunday. The Ragin Cajuns of Louisiana-Lafayette have lost seven straight after a promising win against UALR at the end of 2012.

The Series
North Texas meets ULL for the first time since the Mean Green pounded the Cajuns to open up conference play earlier this season in Denton. NT has won the last three games, and overall, the North Texas holds a one-game edge on the series with 17 wins to the 16 of ULL.

Good When It Matters
Goodwin is four steals and four 3-pointers away from joining the top-10 all-time in school history in both categories. Goodwin has 38 3-pointers and 66 steals. She is hitting 37.6 percent of her 3-pointers on the year, which is the best 3-point FG percentage by a freshman since 1995-96.

Pit Stops
North Texas dropped two straight games at home and was held to less than 50 points in both games. It is the first time since the 2002-03 season that the Mean Green lost two straight home games and was held to less than 50 points.

Freshman Figures
Freshman Loryn Goodwin posted back-to-back 20-point games with 25 against Florida Atlantic and 21 against MTSU. She is the first North Texas freshman since Ashley Norris during the 1995-96 season, to post 20 points or more in back-to-back games.
