Basketball Programs To Host Annual Youth Clinics Dec. 10

DENTON – The North Texas basketball programs will be hosting two free youth clinics on Saturday, Dec. 10 with one from the Physical Education Building and another following the women’s basketball game against Incarnate Word at the Super Pit.  

The day of hoops begins with registration starting at 8:30 a.m. and the first clinic going from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The women’s basketball team hosts Incarnate Word at 3 p.m. and will have a postgame clinic immediately following the contest.

All participants will receive a free T-shirt and a voucher good for free admission to any future Mean Green basketball game. Sixth grade and under youth basketball players and others are encouraged to attend. NCAA regulations require basketball clinics be limited to sixth grade and under. 

Participants will have an opportunity to learn skills and practice techniques from Mean Green coaches and players. Youth coaches and parents are also encouraged to attend.

Clinic Directions & Parking 

The PEB is one block north of the Super Pit on the campus of the University of North Texas. From I-35E exit North Texas Blvd and head east, past the Super Pit, turn right on Chestnut and the PEB Building is on the right hand side. Free parking is available in multiple areas within one block of the PEB.
