Biography
Seth Ketron, PhD student in the Department of Marketing & Logistics, Faculty Advisor of UNT's American Marketing Association chapter, and President of the Graduate Student Council. He hails from the United States and was born and raised in East Tennessee. He graduated in 2011 from East Tennessee State University with a B.S. in Family & Consumer Sciences (conc. Merchandising) and earned his M.S. in Marketing in 2014. Having worked in stores for Gap, Inc. and Belk and in corporate offices for the TJX Companies, Inc. and JCPenney, his work experiences are concentrated in retailing and include positions in corporate-level inventory management/allocation and business analysis as well as in store-level management, visual merchandising, and service. Seth is the proud parent of two very spoiled English bulldogs (Humphrey and Belle) and currently resides in Dallas, TX.
Seth’s research interests are couched in consumer behavior/psychology and include the areas of size perceptions, product packaging/labeling, retail environments, and retailing-related consumer psychology.
