Academic Interests
Professor (Marketing), received his Ph.D. from the University of Mississippi, USA, an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and a B.Tech. (Aeronautics) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. Before coming into academia, he worked in the advertising and consumer product industry as the Account Manager and Planner, and Brand Manager. His research interests include franchising, channels, strategy, NPD, macromarketing, service marketing, cross-cultural and global marketing. His work appears in the Journal of the Marketing, Decision Science Journal, Journal of Retailing, Journal of International Marketing, European Journal of Marketing, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Public Policy and Marketing, Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of Macromarketing, Journal of Services Marketing, Journal of Current Issues & Research in Advertising, the Journal of Marketing Theory & Practice, Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing, Journal of Brand Management, Journal of Consumer Marketing, Journal of Product and Brand Management, and Journal of Marketing Education among others.
