The UNT Dallas DART rail station officially opened Monday, October 24, 2016. Celebratory events for the station’s opening started Thursday, October 20 with a VIP dinner at the new Camp Wisdom station, and concluded with a Community Appreciation Day on the UNT Dallas campus Saturday, October 29, 2016.
The station opens up opportunities for residents along the DART Blue Line to enjoy easier access to higher education. Current students, faculty and staff also benefit from the convenience public transportation provides as an alternative to sitting in traffic each day.
