UNT AMA will be hosting our first annual Marketing Week during the week of October 9th to October 14th. All events are open to members and non-members, so please feel free to bring your friends! This year’s theme is Building Your Own Brand and we will be exploring this topic all week with various events:
October 9th
Pre-Marketing Week Social: Need to wind down and relax after midterms? Then join us at Brunswick Zone from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm for some bowling, fun, and an opportunity to meet other members!

Networking Workshop: Get some tips on networking, interviews, and creating an elevator pitch from Maris Allison, a Talent Acquisition Recruiter from UPS.
Meet at 5:00 pm in BLB 050.
October 11th
Chapter Meeting: Come learn what AMA is all about! We will be making plans for the rest of the semester/year, so you definitely do not want to miss it.
Meet in BLB 055 at 5:00 pm. (There may even some pizza)
October 12th
Networking Event: Put your networking skills to work and mix and mingle with other students and organizations on the Union Rooftop Garden. All students are welcome!
Event will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

DFW AMA President, Tom Dennis: Listen to how the DFW AMA President built his personal brand and got to where he is today.

October 14th
Company Tour of Social Media Delivered: We don’t know if you’ve heard of this small app called Snapchat. We are going to tour one of the best social media companies around and take part in their “Snapchat in Business” class!
If you want to car pool, meet us at 9:15 am behind Wooten Hall (the parking lot side).
