The City is now in Risk Level 4 of the Mosquito Surveillance and Response Plan. Remember the Four D’s as your best defense against mosquitoes:
1. DRAIN standing water around your property to stop mosquito-breeding sites.
2. DUSK & DAWN are the times of day you should try to stay indoors (this is when mosquitoes are most active).
3. DRESS in long sleeves and pants when you're outside and spray thin clothing with repellent....
4. DEET or permethrin-based repellents are the best mosquito deterrents.
