LT Crystal V. Campbell

Executive Officer, Transient Personnel Unit---Puget Sound

LT Crystal Campbell is a graduate from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.  She received her commission through the Navy Reserve Officer Training Corps in May 2009.

 

Following her commissioning, she reported on board USS CHOSIN (CG 65) homeported in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii as the Electrical Officer.  During this tour she completed a deployment with the NIMITZ Carrier Strike Group to Seventh and Fifth Fleet AOR from August 2009 to March 2010.  As part of this deployment, USS CHOSIN became the Combined Task Force 151 Flagship, conducting Counter-Piracy Operations in the Gulf of Aden. 

 

Her next assignment was as the Assistant Administration Officer for Commander, Navy Region Hawaii, managing the Flag Admin Office.  She then reported to Afloat Training Group Middle Pacific as the Assistant Topside Warfare Officer, facilitating in the execution of Basic Phase Training and Certification events of numerous surface combatants.  During this tour, LT Campbell qualified Afloat Training Specialist.  She was selected for lateral transfer into the Navy Human Resources Community in the Summer of 2013. 

 

In September 2013, LT Campbell reported to Commander, Submarine Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet as the Force Personnel Programs Officer.  Additionally she served as the Force Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Officer, and participated in the Enlisted Women in Submarines Task Force.  During this tour, she earned her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certification.

 

LT Campbell reported to Transient Personnel Unit Puget Sound in December 2015 as the Executive Officer.

 

Her personal decorations include the Navy Commendation Medal, and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (2 awards).
