UW paper addresses fitness app disconnect between providers and patients

In today’s fast-paced tech environment, where fitness and health are highly valued, applications based off user-generated data are exceedingly popular. A UW research team recently interviewed 18 patients, 21 health care providers, and surveyed 211 additional patients in order to question the effectiveness of such apps in patient-provider relationships.
