We at DAU are periodically asked whether we offer a “recommended reading list” of performance based life cycle product support (PBL), sustainment, life cycle management and/or life cycle logistics-related articles and reports that Product Support Managers (PSM) and life cycle logistics professionals might want to consider reading. We have created just such a resource on the Performance Based Logistics Community of Practice "PBL Articles & Reports" web site. This single site contains links to literally hundreds of articles and reports since 1997.
Please keep in mind that this list is intended solely to assist logistics professionals interested in broadening their professional knowledge by providing examples of field-relevant works. It should NOT under any circumstances be considered as being complete or all-encompassing, and is in no-wise meant to endorse the views or works of any particular article, author or organization. Finally, this list is an evolving work in progress, and will be periodically updated. If you have suggested additions or recommended changes to this list, please let us know by selecting the red "Feedback" tab at the top of the web page.
In addition to these articles, we also offer a Life Cycle Logistics Career Field Recommended Reading List containing a list of books which serve as potentially useful references for the Life Cycle Logistics community.
Note that the "PBL Articles & Reports" web site contains an extensive array of articles, reports, white papers and related documents dating from 1997 until the present. Check back often as the site is regularly updated with new materials.
