Ben McAdoo says "there were a few times yesterday that [Beckham] may have been interfered with." He says the team will have "plenty of use" this week of the process of sending plays to the league for explanations.

Ben McAdoo's most telling quote following the loss was, "We are who we are right now." Right now they are the NFL's 26th-ranked offense.

Giants' run woes aren't going away

There are worse issues to have, but Big Blue's run game remains anemic. Perhaps Shane Vereen's return can help, but the best antidote might be weak opposing run defenses, Bill Barnwell writes. Contender kryptonite

If the regular season ended today...

...the Giants would still comfortably make the playoffs as the NFC's fifth seed. They still have a 1.5-game cushion in the wild-card race as well as a small shot at the NFC East title. Playoff picture

Ereck Flowers is now tied for third in NFL with 12 penalties after two on Sunday vs. Steelers. Eight are for holding. It's a problem. Josh Norman still leads league with 15.

Victor Cruz played 26 snaps. Roger Lewis played 29. Cruz wasn't even targeted. Was clearly frustrated after the loss.

There was optimism last night with JPP's injured groin that it was not anything serious. MRI on Monday though.

The Giants allowed their first 100-yard rusher of the season Sunday. Le'Veon Bell ran for 118 yards on 29 carries. Hefty workload.

The Giants first loss in almost two months didn't come without controversy. Victor Cruz and Odell Beckham Jr. weren't happy after a loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Steelers didn't play into Eli's hands

Per ESPN Stats & Info, Eli Manning was 8-of-9 with a TD when the Steelers blitzed on Sunday. But the Steelers relied more on a four-man pass rush. Manning was 16-of-30 with a TD and two INTs when the Steelers sent four or fewer.

Dan Graziano ESPN Staff Writer

The Steelers were penalized 12 times for 115 yards. The Giants four times for 24. I'm not wasting much time listening to Giants complaints about officiating.
