Child and Youth Programs

Family Readiness also consists of Child and Youth Programs, such as Child Development Centers (CDC), School Age Care (SAC), Club Teen, and the Child Development Home (CDH) Program.

Naval Station Mayport offers a wide variety of services catering to the needs of military children of all ages. The Child Development Centers (CDC) offer full time and drop-in care for infants through the age of 5 years old and the Youth Activities Center (YAC) and Teen Center (Club Teen) accommodate school age children, pre-teens and teens from kindergarten through high school seniors. The Child Development Homes (CDH) are independent business enterprises operated by Navy certified military family members in their own homes.
