    Over 316 medical and health-related books traveling from Louisiana to Ghana will help students in their studies and strengthen ties between LSU Shreveport and University Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) in Ghana.

    Phi Mu Epsilon Xi at LSU Shreveport is getting ready to dance the night away, and raise funds for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, on Nov. 12 at the Bossier Civic Center in Bossier, LA.

  • Local Author Visits LSUS for Book Reading and Signing

    The book-launch for Shreveport local Ashley Mace Havird’s award-winning novel “Lightningstruck” took place last Wednesday during Common Hour. At the event, which was hosted by the English Club and English department, Havird talked about the themes of the book, read a few passages, and answered questions from students about the meaning of the story, the process of writing it, and information about publishing.

LSU Degrees at LSU Shreveport

LSU degrees are being offered through the LSU Shreveport campus and students completing these programs will earn a diploma from LSU.  Three of the four programs can be completed in Shreveport.

International Studies

Petroleum Engineering*

Sport Administration 

*The Petroleum Engineering degree will require some hours to be taken on the LSU campus.
