Environmental Assessment for Fire Station Construction, Don Pedro, Mariposa County, California (October 2010)

FEMA is considering providing funding for the construction of a new fire station for an existing volunteer engine company in the northwestern region of Mariposa County in the unincorporated community of Don Pedro. Funding would be provided under FEMA’s Assistance to Firefighters Station Construction Grant Program, which was authorized by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. In accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and FEMA’s regulations for implementing NEPA at 44 CFR Part 10, a Environmental Assessment has been prepared to evaluate the potential impacts of the proposed project on the environment.
