Environmental Assessment for Hancock County Emergency Operations Center, Hancock County, Mississippi (September 2010)

The Hancock County Mississippi Board of Supervisors has applied for funding under FEMA’s Hazard Mitigation Grant Program to relocate and rebuild the county’s Emergency Operations Center following Hurricane Katrina. In accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and FEMA’s regulations for implementing NEPA at 44 CFR Part 10, an Environmental Assessment has been prepared to evaluate the potential impacts of the proposed project on the environment.
