Retirement after 64 years of service
Mr. Kazuo Doi will be retiring this year after a very long career with TMDE and USARJ. After 64 years of service as one of the local national employees for the US Army, Mr. Doi will be closing this chapter in his life. Mr Doi began working for the US Army as a 19-year-old at Yokohama North Dock back in 1950. He moved to present-day Sagami Depot back in 1952, and has been working there ever since. Mr. Doi has been working as part of a team ...unit with the flow of Small Arms Gauges and dimensional calibration work while also being the primary person who handles the incoming and outgoing shipments for the lab. He has conducted that work with the same dedication and quality for the task performed since his first day on the job back in 1952. Mr. Doi has always been well liked and respected, and as he leaves our USARJ team, we will miss him dearly for his absolute dedication and loyalty to our organization. Enjoy retirement, Mr. Doi!
