The mission of the Directorate is to provide direct command support for military and civilian personnel actions, command-sponsored training, individual training and education, safety, security, emergency management and assistance, substance abuse prevention, congressional and White House inquiries, and other related matters to the USMEPCOM Commander and staff, sectors, and MEPS.

The Human Resources Directorate consists of five distinct divisions:
