The 366th Medical Group provides medical services to support the combat capability of the 366th Fighter Wing at deployed locations as well as the Mountain Home AFB community. The group also maintains a 10-bed hospital and a 24-hour urgent care center supporting 19.3 beneficiaries.

The Group is accredited by The Joint Commission, American Dental Association, and College of American Pathologists and has affiliations with the American Hospital Association and American Medical Association

The 366 MDG provides a 10-bed hospital and care facility at Mountain Home AFB, seeing approximately 24,000 patients a year. The hospital was named ACC Best Hospital of the Year for 2014 and 2015, and offers many specialty services. The 366 MDG has 378 persons (PN) plus a 76 PN Bio-Environmental unit, providing emergency, urgent, and impatient care. Clinics are provided for dental, family health, flight medicine, pediatric, immunization, optometry, and women’s health (obstetrics/gynecology). Care is provided in the following specialty areas: Family practice, internal medicine, general surgery, psychiatry, radiology, pharmacy, clinical laboratory, dietetics, and physical therapy. Specialty services beyond the capability of the 366th MDG are referred to other military facilities through the aeromedical evacuation system or through local civilian sources.

The group is comprised of four squadrons:

The 366th Aerospace Medicine Squadron (AMDS)
The squadron consists of seven flights. Dental, Flight Medicine, and Optometry flights provide clinical care for all active duty and beneficiaries. Public Health and Bioenvironmental Engineering flights provide communicable disease prevention, force health, and environment protection, and industrial hygiene for the base population. Health Promotions flight includes the state-of-the-art Health and Wellness Center (HAWC) and provides nutritional, health promotion and fitness advice to all beneficiaries. Finally, the Aerospace Physiology flight provides physiologic and performance enhancement training to active duty personnel. The flights work together to ensure we maintain mission ready forces.

The 366th Medical Operations Squadron (MDOS) provides comprehensive primary care and limited space-available subspecialty care to TRICARE beneficiaries at the Medical Group. The Squadron also has an Urgent Care Center, which provides 24/7 care in addition to 24/7 emergency ambulance services. The squadron is comprised of four flights: Family Practice, Mental Health, Physical Therapy, and the Urgent Care Center. They have a combined strength of approximately 106 assigned personnel. Available services include: Primary Care, Immunizations, Physical Therapy, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Mental Health, Family Advocacy, Substance Abuse counseling, and Acupuncture. Combined, these clinics average more than 53,500 patient visits per year.

The 366th Medical Support Squadron (MDSS) provides a wide-range of administrative, logistical, and ancillary services supporting our healthcare team and 24,000 beneficiaries. Our unit is comprised of eight flights: Personnel and Administration, Resource Management, TRICARE Operations and Patient Administration, Medical Readiness, Information Services, Laboratory, Diagnostics and Therapeutics, and Medical Logistics. The 366 MDSS supports healthcare delivery by expertly managing the group’s annual $14 million budget and manpower programs for 350 staff members. Our managed care program supports an enrolled population of 9,300, amounting to approximately 54,000 annual patient visits. Additionally, the squadron provides top-notch ancillary services with a $3.5 million pharmacy budget, 24/7 comprehensive laboratory testing, as well as nutritional support to nearly 400 inpatients each year.

The 366th Surgical Operations Squadron (SGCS) provides comprehensive inpatient care and subspecialty care to TRICARE beneficiaries at the Medical Group. The Squadron is comprised of four flights, all providing 24/7 services. The flights consist of Multiservice Inpatient Flight, Surgical Services Flight, Women’s Health, and Diagnostic Imaging Flight totaling approximately 63 personnel. Available services includes: OB/GYN, Surgery, Radiology, Mammography, Ultrasound, Computed Tomography, and a 10-bed inpatient unit. Over the past year, Surgical Services averaged 40 cases each month and Multiservice Inpatient unit averaged 36 patients per month.
