The mission of USMEPCOM and the Lansing MEPS is to prepare individuals for enlistment or induction into the armed services by applying established DoD standards in order to determine eligibility for military service. The Lansing MEPS is one of a network of 65 MEPS facilities located nationwide and in Puerto Rico.

An active participant in the greater Lansing community, the military service members and civilian employees of the Lansing MEPS volunteer at various local events throughout the year. Additionally, our Student Testing team travels around much of Michigan to provide aptitude testing services for thousands of the state's young men and women, offering career information and an opportunity to serve the nation.

The Lansing MEPS is proud to be a gateway for Michigan's future leaders.
