Develops, manages, and coordinates policies, procedures and requirements of Command security, occupational safety, fire and accident prevention, substance abuse prevention and detection, terrorism counteraction, emergency management, Station Advisory Reporting Network (STARNET) and congressional and White House inquiries. The Division maintains the Command's annual Security planning and execution plan, and manages the Command's Wellness and Readiness Program.
Wellness and Readiness provides Quality of Life Programs for service members, civilian employees, and their family members. Establishes policy and program guidance for well-being initiatives including: Family Advocacy Programs, Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP), Suicide Awareness and Prevention, Civilian Wellness, Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) Assistance, Relocation Assistance, Army Family Action Plan/Wellness Symposium, Volunteer Management, Readiness Support Groups, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), as well as providing nationwide information and referrals for such services as child care, housing, spousal employment, home repairs, money management and personal/family budgeting, and counseling.
