Lt Col Jeremy Raley joined DARPA in June 2016 as a program manager in the Tactical Technology Office. His interests include offensive and defensive space control, remote sensing, assured availability of space assets, and command and control of the U.S. space enterprise.
Prior to joining DARPA, Lt Col Raley worked at the National Reconnaissance Office, Imagery Intelligence Systems Acquisition Directorate, where he helped develop and apply novel sensing capabilities. He also championed the U.S. Air Force position to enhance protection of space assets critical to force projection within the Pentagon and to Congress while working in the office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force (Acquisitions), Space Control and Advanced Technology Division. In addition, Lt Col Raley has held leadership positions in the Space and Missile Systems Center’s Rapid Reaction Branch, the 609th Air Operations Center, and the Air Force Research Laboratory’s Sensors Directorate.
Lt Col Raley earned his Doctor of Philosophy and Master of Science, both in electrical engineering, from the Air Force Institute of Technology. He received his Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the U.S. Air Force Academy.
