Immunizations

The AFMS immunizations is dedicated into ensuring vaccines are available at each of its MTFs and administers them to each beneficiary as recommended by the CDC's Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP). Immunization staff at our MTFs are highly trained and can assistance/education to beneficiaries with their vaccine concerns before and after vaccination.

Information for specific groups, i.e. parents, infants/toddlers, young children, preteens/teens, college students, adults, and pregnant women are available in easy to read formats on the CDC's website http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines accessible via desktop, laptop, tablet, and smartphones.

Calls are answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by licensed Healthcare providers with expertise in immunization issues to assist in answering patient and provider inquiries.
