The 14th Medical Group provides therapeutic and preventive medical and dental care for 1,600 Active Duty personnel and 6,400 other beneficiaries. The 14th Medical Group promotes wellness to ensure the highest state of wartime readiness combat capability for over 58,000 sorties accomplished by the 14th Flying Training Wing. It provides aerospace medicine expertise to support pilot training. It also conducts environmental monitoring to maintain occupational and public health standards for the base.

The 14th Medical Operations Squadron provides and coordinates comprehensive healthcare for a community of 8,000 active duty, retired and family member DoD beneficiaries. The squadron also has the responsibility for preventive, integrated health care through public health, bioenvironmental engineering, optometry and health & wellness activities for Columbus AFB. The squadron consist of eight flights: Aerospace & Operational Medicine, Dental, Family Medicine, Mental Health, Optometry, Bioenvironmental, Public Health, and Aerospace & Operational Physiology. They have a combined strength of 80 medical professionals providing healthcare and mission-readiness support for 3,000 wing employees and 13 geographically separated units.

The 14th Medical Support Squadron provides pharmacy, laboratory and radiology services, as well as medical logistics and administrative support to the Airmen of Columbus Air Force Base and our 8,200 beneficiaries. Our systems and readiness flights support the 14th Medical Group team and the delivery of high quality healthcare. The squadron manages a 40K square foot LEED Silver Certified medical treatment facility and an annual budget of $7.1 million dollars, ensuring Columbus Air Force Base continues to produce the finest pilots in the world.
