The 36th Medical Group supports the 36th Wing in providing The President Of The United States Sovereign Options To Decisively Employ Airpower Across The Entire Spectrum Of Engagement. Our mission is to Optimize Team Andersen with fit and healthy forces and families in peace and war and our vision is to provide Seamless Health Services support to the 36th Wing and our Guam partners.

We have a combined military, civilian, and contractor workforce of 177 personnel. Our staff provides health services to more than 7,500 homestation and deployed beneficiaries while also supporting 23 deployable packages for military operations and humanitarian relief operations. The 36th MDG is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care and College of American Pathologists.

In the past two years we've won:


Air Force Medical Service SNCO Leadership Award, PACAF - GEICO Military Service Award (Drug and Alcohol Abuse Prevention), the Young Health Care Administrator of the Year, the Clinical Dentist of the Year, the Outstanding Medical Materiel NCO of The Year, the Outstanding Mental Health NCO of The Year, and the Public Health NCO of The Year. PACAF also recognized the 36th Medical Group as the "Best Clinic of the Year" for 2015.

Additionally, our Airmen brought home the Guam - USO Service Member of the Year and the EMT and Paramedic of the Year. We also earned the 11 AF - Air Force Sergeants Association (AFSA) Pitsenbarger Award, GEICO Military Service Award (Drug and Alcohol Abuse Prevention), and National Organization for Mexican American Rights Meritorious Service Award, and we earned twelve wing quarterly wins and one annual wing award.
