Boating Classes

  • The Virginia Department of game and Inland Fisheries is offering boating safety classes in our community. Boating classes are highly recommended to anyone that has not been through a boating class or has the opportunity to operate their own boat or one of our Outdoor Recreation rental boats. Many other opportunities exist to take this course at other locations. The course is also available online. To locate other classes or to access the online web site, please visit the VDGIF at www.dgif.state.va.us
