Statement by Press Secretary Marsha Catron on Secretary Johnson's Upcoming Trip to London

On Dec. 9-10, Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson will be in London to participate in the G6+1 Ministerial. Secretary Johnson will meet with his counterparts from six European Union (EU) Member States (Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Spain, and Poland) and with the EU Commissioner for Migration, Home Affairs, and Citizenship to discuss a range of common security-related priorities including efforts to counter terrorism and violent extremism, and to combat transnational crime.

Statement by Press Secretary Marsha Catron on Deputy Secretary Mayorkas' Upcoming Trip to China

On November 12-13, Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas will visit Beijing, China to participate in meetings with senior Chinese officials to advance implementation of bilateral commitments on cyber issues and prepare for the first US-China Ministerial Dialogue on Cybercrime and Related Issues in December. Deputy Secretary Mayorkas will also discuss other homeland security-related issues, including counterterrorism, combating transnational crime, and Coast Guard conduct at sea.

Readout Of Secretary Johnson's Trip To Mexico

Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson was in Mexico City today and yesterday, where he met with Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto, Secretary of Interior Miguel Ángel Osorio Chong, and Foreign Minister Claudia Ruiz Massieu, to discuss our shared security and commercial interests.
