An F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft performs a low-altitude fly-by maneuver at Papa Air Base, Hungary. The F-16 is from the 120th Fighter Squadron, which is based out of Buckley Air Force Base, Colorado and is part of the 140th Wing, which is here to train with our NATO allies in Hungary, and partner nations around the region in the biggest air operation since the Balkans with eight states and five countries involved in the Panther Strike exercise in conjunction with Operation Atlantic Resolve. An F-16 Fighting Falcon from the 120th Fighter Squadron, 140th Wing, Colorado Air National Guard, does a low pass fly-by before landing, Cerkjle ob Krki Air Base, Slovenia, 25 July, 2016. The 140th Wing F-16 Fighting Falcons made history when they became the first F-16s to ever land at Cerkjle AB. The 140th WG is currently deployed to Hungary to train with NATO allies in Slovenia, Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic in conjunction with Panther Strike 2016 and Operation Atlantic Resolve. Master Sgt. John A. St. George, crew chief from the 140th Wing, Colorado Air National Guard, Buckley Air Force Base, Colorado, marshals an F-16 Fighting Falcon into position after landing at Papa Air Base, Hungary, while other crew chiefs chalk the wheels. This is the first time Colorado jets have landed in Hungary, and the first time the Colorado Air Guard has been to Europe in at more than 20 years.
