Environmental Assessment for Calhoun County Road 244 Realignment and Riverbank Reinforcement Project, Arkansas (June 2010)

Calhoun County has applied for FEMA Public Assistance funding for the partial realignment of County Road 244 and the accompanying riverbank reinforcement of the Ouachita River to reduce the likelihood of future road damage in this area. In accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) of 1969 and the implementing regulations of FEMA at 44 CFR Part 10, an Environmental Assessment has been prepared to assess the potential impacts of the proposed action on the human and natural environment.
