In 2008, 2005, and 2002 the 39th Logistics Readiness Squadron was recognized as the United States Air Force Logistics Readiness Squadron of the Year (non-flying) category. In addition, the 39th Logistics Readiness Squadron was selected as United States Air Forces in Europe's Logistics Readiness Squadron of the Year (non-flying) category in 2010, 2008, 2007, 2005, and 2002.

When something is moved, stored, distributed, deployed or received on Incirlik, the 39th Logistics Readiness Squadron is involved. As the organization responsible for executing war readiness, transportation, supply and fuels support, the squadron has a hand in every facet of base and mission operations.

The squadron manages $5 million in war reserve materiel, support agreement reimbursements of $2.9 million, a 7,400 line item stock record account worth $33.6M, 8.5 million gallons of fuel storage and 766 vehicles. The total value of these items is more than $353 million.
