Question:  With the loss of taxi service I had a question about airport service.

From what I have seen cabs off base are not the most reliable when it comes to price and they may tell you one thing and take you there and it not be what you were told.  The on base service said a ride to the airport is this much and they would also take your return info so they could pick you up.

With the loss is it worth looking into the LRS operated airport shuttle running for all personnel no matter of travel status, even if it's on some sort of reimbursement system to the government?

Response:  Thank you for your suggestion!

We are in the process of finalizing options for improving the shuttle service, and will add your suggestion to our list of options.  There are quite a few Air Force Instructions that govern the use of shuttles, and so I can't guarantee that this will be an option, but I think it's worth examining.

We'll be in touch with the new plan soon.  Thanks again for your suggestion!
