- This presentation was given to the 859 Standard for Data Management committee at the Quarterly GEIA Conference in Annapolis, MD on 22 June 2004. The presentation provides and ERP Overview, a look at major tems and concepts, some supply & maintenance scenarios and an SAP rpair cycle demonstration. The Navy's ERP effort is a response to a common theme - disparate databases; suspect data integrity; financial, maintenance and supply data not being linked; multipe sources of data means multiple answers to a single question. The result...months to answer a question and conflicting answers.
