Dental Care

Our dental service offers a wide range of dental services to eligible veterans at the Biloxi Medical center and Pensacola Outpatient Clinic.

Emergency Department

The VA Gulf Coast Veterans HCS ER is available 24 hours.

Extended Care

Our extended care service provides nursing home care, as well as home and community care, hospice care, dementia care, homemaker/home health aides, and adult day care.

Hospital Inpatient Services

Hospital Inpatient Services include acute medicine, surgery, and intensive care.

Medical Foster Home Program 

Medical Foster Home Program is an option to long-term nursing home care.

Mental Health

Our mental health program provides consultation, evaluation, and treatment for a variety of issues that can impact emotional well-being. Services available are:

  • Hospital Acute Psychiatry
  • Psychosocial Residential Rehabilitation Treatment(PPPTP)
  • SADP Intensive Outpatient (IOP)
  • Outpatient Mental Health
  • General Mental Health, PSD Treatment, Smoking Cessation, Substance Abuse Treatment, Mental Health Intensive Case Management, and Day Treatment.

Pharmacy

Our pharmacy processes more than 5000 prescriptions daily. Prescriptions may be refilled by mail, phone, or online. Read more about our pharmacy program.

Primary Care

Our primary care program offers an extensive range of treatments with an emphasis on health care prevention.

Research

Our research and development program enhances our ability to provide state-of-the-art medical techniques and treatments to veterans.

SAFE (Support and Family Education)

Monthly workshops for families and friends of returning veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars.

Social Work

Social work is an integral part of health care. Our social work program assists veterans with counseling and community services.

Specialty Care

Spinal Cord Injury

Our spinal cord injury program provides comprehensive care to patients who have suffered spinal cord injuries, including surgery and rehabilitation.

Telehealth

Our Telehealth program is an innovative healthcare delivery program that utilizes technological advances to overcome barriers to care.
 

Weight Management Program(MOVE)

The MOVE program is a national weight management program designed by the VA National Center for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention (NCP), a part of the Office of Patient Care Services, to help veterans lose weight, keep it off and improve their health.

Women Veterans Health 

Our woman veterans' health program includes a number of clinical services available to women, including gynecology, mammography, reproductive care, and menopause treatment.
