Default Air Force Logo Construction on new traffic circle begins this month
A new traffic junction will be constructed beginning Nov. 28 outside the East Gate. The new junction, described as a turbo circle, is a State Authority for Mobility (LBM) project, designed to meet future traffic needs. Veterans Day is observed annually on November 11 and commemorates military veterans who currently serve or have served the U.S. armed forces, including those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. According to the DoD and Veterans Administration, since World War I, approximately 624,000 U.S. servicemembers have been killed in action battling in wars and conflicts. Fifty-eight Airmen assigned to the 1st Combat Communications Squadron participated in exercise Healthy Thunder from Oct. 24 to Nov. 4 at Ramstein Air Base, Germany.
