President Obama’s travel to Peru from November 18-20 for the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (#APEC) Leaders’ Summit underscores the United States’ support for the institutions that support economic growth, integration and trade and investment throughout the Asia Pacific region.

He will meet with leaders of countries that have been a focus of our #rebalance to the Asia Pacific, including bilateral meetings with leaders of #China, #Australia, and #Peru.

“There’s no question that this region must be a focus of the United States going forward, and that’s why the President has invested a lot of time strengthening our position in the Asia Pacific.”
