Why he XLed: Westbrook collaborated with the 47th Communications Squadron to identify and repair local area network (LAN) issues, which reconnected six housing management personnel and ensured mission readiness. He installed five computers in the Mobile Emergency Operations Center, enabled network connectivity and ensured the ability for immediate emergency response. Westbrook also wrote two step-by-step training packages that helped ensure cyber security to more than 100 computers by assisting personnel in reducing LAN vulnerabilities.
