PURPOSE: To evaluate school qualifications for an AFJROTC unit.
ROUTINE USES: As indicated in system note F035 AETC B, Air For Junior ROTC (AFJROTC) Applicant/Instructor System. Records from this system of records may be disclosed for any of the blanket routine uses by the Air Force.

Apply for an AFJROTC Unit

The first step in the selection process to host an Air Force Junior ROTC unit is to complete an application. Our School Application is available on-line and the link is provided below. Print the form first by selecting the Print button located at the bottom of the form. The blank form will assist you in gathering information and submitting your application on-line. Allow yourself enough time to complete the application during a single session, as you cannot currently save your data.
The application cycle for units opening in July 2014 is closed.
To be considered for an AFJROTC unit opening in July 2015, all applications and application signature pages must be received no later than 15 April 2015. Applications received after 15 April 2015 will be considered for units opening in July 2016.
Before applying for a unit please, understand the minimum cadet enrollment requirements: A school with a student population of a 1000 or more must have minimum of 100 cadets. For a school with a student population of 999 to 750, the cadet enrollment must be 10% of the population. A school with a student population less than 750 must have a cadet enrollment of at least 75.
