U.S. Equal Employment
Opportunity Commission
As with other Executive Branch agencies, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission routinely interacts with Congress and has a Legislative Affairs unit in its Office of Communications and Legislative Affairs which represents the Commission to the Congress and other federal government agencies. Legislative Affairs serves as the communications link between the Commission and Congress and the Executive Branch, assists in coordinating internal agency collaborations and ensures sustained, coordinated and consistent legislative outreach.
