11/3/2016 - MCGHEE TYSON AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Tenn. -- The I.G. Brown Training and Education Center is migrating to the Air Force Public Information Management System's latest web site version during the coming weeks, which improves the content displayed on its public web page, said officials.
"What our customers should know is that the information on the current web page will be limited and may look dated until the crossover is complete," said Master Sgt. Mike Smith, Public Affairs manager.
Smith said that the new web site is just part of the Air National Guard's nationwide migration, and it follows the larger Air Force's update.
"We are very excited to be among a select group of units to first undergo the Air National Guard's migration into this new system," said Smith. "The AFPIMS 5 provides a new look and intuitive navigation to our public web pages, and we will take full advantage of the capabilities it provides our missions well into the future."
Smith said that TEC will continue to publish news, photos and other public information to Facebook, as well as to the Defense Video Imagery Distribution System. Both accounts are linked here.
