The Lee County Board of Commissioners will hold Budget meetings from Monday, May 11, 2009 through Thursday, May 14, 2009; Tuesday, May 26, 2009 through May 29, 2009. The meetings will be held at the Lee County Library, Conference Room, 245 Walnut Avenue, South, Leesburg, Georgia from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. The purpose of this meeting will be to discuss the FY2009/2010 proposed budget. The public is invited to attend and observe this meeting.

Stroll down Memory Lane with a purchase of a Commemorative Brick. These bricks will be used to complete the sidewalk towards the old Lee County School Building. This building formerly known as Leesburg High School was completed in 1922. In 1948, it was renamed the Lee County High School. At the present time the long term renovation is almost complete, soon will be occupied by various county offices. Please consider becoming a part of this project by purchasing a personalized commemorative brick. These can be purchased for $45 each at the Lee County Chamber of Commerce. The offices of the Board of Commissioners, Administration, Human Resources, and Finance have relocated to 110 Starksville Avenue North, Leesburg, GA 31763. All phone numbers to these offices will remain the same.
