Chief Master Sergeant Dawn M. Kolczynski is currently the Superintendent of the 355th Medical Group, Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona. She is the personal advisor to the Commander on all matters concerning the welfare, training and utilization of over 435 officers, enlisted and civilian personnel. Chief Kolczynski resolves issues between subordinate squadrons, other groups, wing staff and outside agencies. She provides oversight of force development for 182 enlisted members.
Her professional background includes various duties in Bioenvironmental Engineering, Section Chief, Plans and Programs (XP) and a four year assignment with NATO as the Superintendent, Safety and Health Branch where she developed and executed Safety and Health plans for HQ AIRCOM, Joint Force Air Component and NATO Response Force ensuring stringent compliance with host nation safety and health directives. She also served in support of Operations IRAQI FREEDOM, UNIFIED PROTECTOR and most recently Operation ENDURING FREEDOM as Theater Bioenvironmental Engineering Functional Manager, Combined Air and Space Operations Center, Air Force Central Command.
