Military Standard Configuration Management.
Jointly sponsored by the Office of the Secretary of Defense and the Joint Logistics Commanders. This Standard consolidates configuration management requirements that were previously scattered throughout several configuration management standardization documents, thus reducing the number of configuration management standards in the DoD inventory.
