The Joint Commission (TJC) will conduct an accreditation survey on 19-21 October 2016 at the 579th Medical Group, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling. The survey will be used to evaluate the organizations compliance with the TJC standards for ambulatory health care and to determine if accreditation should be awarded to the organization. Joint Commission accreditation and certification is recognized nationwide as a symbol of quality that reflects an organization's commitment to meeting certain performance standards.
