ADAPT

The Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Treatment (ADAPT) element of the Mental Health Flight is focused on helping people with substance abuse/addiction problems. The team is comprised of a licensed clinician and technicians specially trained to work with substance issues. The mission of the ADAPT program is to provide treatment and prevention services, encourage healthy lifestyles, enhance relationships, and ensure mission readiness. The ADAPT team engages in regular outreach activities to address ever-changing base needs in regards to trends that are being seen in the community, on base, or Air Force wide. The ADAPT clinic is able to provide assessment, education, treatment, and follow-up care to active duty members as well as to dependents on a space available basis. The ADAPT team works closely with medical staff and command to ensure members are getting the treatment they need while continuing to fulfill mission requirements.

Bioenvironmental Engineering Flight (BEF)

The Bioenvironmental Engineering Flight (BEF) offers expertise in the area of occupational and environmental health.

Important Notes:
Gas Mask fit tests are performed on a walk in basis. Hours of availability are Tuesday 0730-1600 and Thursday 0900-1500 at the 92d MDG, rm 128A.

BOMC

The BOMC flight provides annual Preventive Health Assessments (PHAs) for non-flyers (247-4136), occupational health physicals, pre-employment physicals, retraining physicals, medical overseas clearances and separation health physical exams.

CSS

CSS provides administrative support to all members of the 92 MDG staff.

Dental Clinic

Important Notes:
For an after-hour dental emergency (severe pain, bleeding, swelling) for which you feel you need to speak with a dentist during non-duty hours, call the Dental Officer on duty by calling (509) 994-9637. To schedule an appointment, call the dental clinic front desk at 509-247-5820.

The Air Force Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) is designed to provide support to military family members with special needs. All branches of the military offer EFMP, and each Service includes a variety of personnel, medical and family support functions under the EFMP umbrella. Family Advocacy

The Family Advocacy Program (FAP) element of the Mental Health Flight addresses the familial and interpersonal aspects of daily living. The team is comprised of a Family Advocacy Officer (FAO), two Treatment Managers (TM), a Family Advocacy Outreach Manager (FAOM), a two Family Advocacy Nurses (FAN), a Domestic Abuse Victim Advocate (DAVA), two Family Advocacy Program Assistants (FAPAs), and an enlisted NCOIC. The FAP team helps members of our AF community manage their interpersonal relationships, whether that is between co-workers, spouses and significant others, and/or children, in a caring and appropriate manner. We also provide education in topics such as anger and stress management, interpersonal communication, and relationship and parenting skills. If you are having problems with someone you care about or are being challenged by the children in your home, then these are the people to talk to. They can help!

Family Health

The Family Health Clinic offers exceptional medical care to AD members, dependents, and retirees. In case of emergencies, there is a 24-hour Ambulance Service that provides coverage on base seven days a week. There are two healthcare teams at the Fairchild Family Health Clinic; Falcon and Osprey that operate under the Patient Centered Medical Home Model. This model delivers great care with optimal outcomes with a patient centered, holistic approach that focuses on assigning each patient a personal provider who leads a team of individuals at the practice level who collectively take responsibility for the ongoing care of their patients. The personal provider and their team look forward to taking care of you and your family.

Ambulance services is available 24/7 for emergency care.

Health Benefits Advisor/BCAC/DCAO

TRICARE beneficiary advocate, ensures health benefit information & assistance to access health care is available to all eligible beneficiaries; Assists beneficiaries with debt collections/adverse credit ratings due to an unpaid TRICARE bills

Important Notes:
BCAC – Beneficiary Counseling & Assistance Coordinator; DCAO – Debt Collections Assistance Officer

Patients should never ignore a bill assuming TRICARE will handle it automatically. If a patient receives a bill, they must call the doctor’s office/hospital that issued the bill (typically, the number is listed on the bill) for resolution. If that does not resolve the bill, the patient calls the TRICARE contractor (currently United Health Care Military & Veterans in the West Region) second. If the bill is still not resolved, the patient may report to or call the BCAC/DCAO for assistance.

Pediatrics

The Pediatric clinic is the Patient Centered Medical Home for more than 2,000 children ranging from infancy to young adulthood. Our clinic is staffed by two wonderful Pediatric providers dedicated to making sure that your visit is the best possible. We also offer "walk‐in" appointments for weight checks, testing for strep throat, suture/staple removals and wart treatments (for established patients) 7 a.m. to 1100 a.m. and 1300 p.m. to 1500 p.m. Point of service immunizations are also given during wellness exams to help cut out your wait times. Moreover, our wellness program will help remind you of when it is time to book that next appointment keeping your children on time with their most necessary check-ups during the first two years of life. We look forward to providing compassionate care for all your rapidly growing family members.

Walk in services are from 0700-1100 and 1300-1500 for repeat wart treatments, strep test, and suture/staple removal

The Pharmacy serves over 30 thousand beneficiaries along with nine clinics. There are two pharmacy pick up locations. The Main Pharmacy is located on the first floor of the Medical Group and fills all new prescriptions to include faxed prescriptions from civilian providers.

Physical Therapy

The Physical Therapy Clinic provides quality evidence based care for most musculoskeletal disorders and movement dysfunctions. After a thorough evaluation, our team utilizes therapeutic exercise, joint and soft tissue mobilization/manipulation, and modalities such as cold, heat, electrical stimulation, iontophoresis, traction, and ultrasound to improve mobility and decrease pain in order to help restore function. We currently see all adult TRICARE beneficiaries, but when our access to care becomes limited, we may defer dependent/retiree referrals to network physical therapy clinics. We currently do not have the capability to evaluate/treat patients for neurological conditions (i.e., stroke, neuro-muscular disease), wound care, urinary stress incontinence/pelvic floor dysfunction or any pediatric conditions. Please call (509) 247-5882 to schedule an appointment or walk-in to our direct access clinic daily from 0800 to 1000. We are located on the 3rd floor in the 92d Medical Group.

Public Health

Services offered: Gynecology; breast care/health; preventive care/routine exams; reproductive health services for women of all ages; preventive/contraception educationThe Women's Health clinic is operating under the guidance of the DOD, as well as The American Congress of Obstetrics & Gynecology. The Women's Health Clinic provides a broad spectrum of gynecological care services to include evaluation of GYN problems with medical and surgical treatments, contraceptive counseling, sterilization counseling, family planning/contraceptive counseling including IUDs and Nexplanon. Care referred to local civilian facilities includes infertility services, obstetrical care, and perinatology care for some high risk pregnancies.
