May 25 - TRICARE Mental Wellness Webinar

Mental health care is an important yearlong priority for the Military Health System (MHS). However during May, TRICARE and the MHS recognize Mental Health Awareness Month. Join our webinar on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at 12pm EST to get an overview of TRICARE’s Mental Health Benefit and also to get an update on the Autism Care Demonstration.

Counseling, psychotherapy, and family therapy are all covered benefits under TRICARE. Active duty service members must get mental health care in their military treatment facilities, but can participate in family therapy sessions with TRICARE authorized mental health providers. This webinar will be presented by Dori Rogut. Ms. Rogut is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Nurse Specialist with over 30 years experience in the field of psychiatric mental health nursing. She has worked for DoD for the past twelve years in different positions encompassing both clinical and administrative policy roles.
