The mission of the Range Support Section is to coordinate and integrate all ground and air activities in the Ranges and Training areas (RTA) within the Guadalcanal Training Complex and associated Special Use Airspace (SUA).

The Range Support Section reviews, processes, and approves all activities within the RTA and SUA and serves as the primary liaison for all ground training units and squadrons desiring to conduct operations aboard MCB Quantico.
