Family Readiness Officer

Headquarters and Service Battalion

Mission
The Unit Personal and Family Readiness Program (UPFRP) is a combat multiplier. It is equally as important as individual, equipment, and combat readiness. The ability of the individual Marine and their family to successfully balance: mission events, life events and career events supported by the enduring partnership between the unit's Family Readiness Command Team and the Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) Team results in a high level of readiness.
The Family Readiness Officer facilitates the four mission areas of the UPFRP which include Communication, Readiness and Deployment Support, Information and Referral, and Volunteer Management.
