The MCIOC will establish IO as a valued and critical element of combined arms.
MISSION STATEMENT
The MCIOC provides operational support to the Marine Components and MAGTFs and provides IO subject matter expertise in support of USMC IO advocates and proponents IOT enable the effective integration of IO into Marine Corps operations.
DEFINITION OF INFORMATION OPERATIONS
Information Operations is the integration, coordination, and synchronization of all actions taken in the information environment to affect a target audience’s behavior in order to create an operational advantage for the commander.
