The Magnetic Miniaturized and Monolithically Integrated Components (M3IC) program aims to integrate magnetic components onto semiconductor materials, improving the size and functionality of electromagnetic (EM) systems for communications, radar, and electronic warfare (EW). Current EM systems use magnetic components such as circulators, inductors, and isolators, but these are bulky and cannot be integrated with miniaturized electronic circuitry.
Program Manager
Dr. Daniel Green joined DARPA as a program manager in March 2013. His interests include advanced materials, devices and technology integration for electronic systems.
Program Manager
Dr. D. Tyler McQuade joined DARPA as a program manager in the Defense Sciences Office in 2013. In his current DARPA role as a Program Manager he is overseeing programs in the physical sciences area. Current programs tend to be process oriented and range from surface coatings to small molecule synthesis.
